The Blacktown Paramedic Response Centre is part of a $150 million program of works that will see NSW Ambulance change the way they do business. The Paramedic Response Centre will sit at the heart of Blacktown and be supported by a network of Paramedic Response Points. Located at 10 Bungarribee Road, the Paramedic Response Centre is tailored to Blacktown and its surrounding suburbs. The population of Sydney is growing and with an ageing population NSW Ambulance is proactively preparing for the next decade and beyond. The NSW Government is investing in purpose-built and modern ambulance stations to help our highly trained paramedics be in the right place, at the right time. Construction of the Blacktown Paramedic Response Centre will be completed in 2017 and will have parking bays for up to 30 ambulance vehicles. The Blacktown Paramedic Response Centre is part of the NSW Government’s Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy. The Strategy aims to reorganise and enhance infrastructure to better serve the community and paramedics whose work is mostly done on the road.
