Kogarah Paramedic Response Network

The Kogarah Superstation sits at the heart of the new Kogarah Paramedic Response Network cluster and is where paramedics go to start and end their shift.

Local clusters are composed of a superstation, existing ambulance stations and smaller, standby stations called Paramedic Response Points.

As NSW Ambulance is a mobile workforce that usually sees metropolitan paramedics respond from one patient to the next, the Paramedic Response Points will serve as a location from which paramedics can also respond throughout their shift.

This new operating model will ensure NSW Ambulance paramedics are strategically placed to meet the emergency medical needs of metropolitan Sydney communities now and into the future.

Kogarah Superstation

Located at 1-9 Rocky Point Road, the Kogarah Superstation is a major investment in local ambulance services, designed to support patients in the Kogarah community and the surrounding area.

The Kogarah Superstation includes:
  • Parking bays for up to 14 ambulance vehicles
  • Administration, office areas and amenities
  • On site staff parking
  • A logistics and storage area
  • An external wash bay.
Construction has been completed and the Kogarah superstation commenced operations in 2017
