Randwick Paramedic Response Network
The Randwick Superstation will sit at the heart of the new Randwick Paramedic Response Network cluster and is where paramedics will go to start and end their shift.
Local clusters are composed of a superstation, existing ambulance stations and smaller, standby stations called Paramedic Response Points.
As NSW Ambulance is a mobile workforce that usually sees metropolitan paramedics respond from one patient to the next, the Paramedic Response Points will serve as a location from which paramedics can also respond throughout their shift.
This new operating model will ensure NSW Ambulance paramedics are strategically placed to meet the emergency medical needs of metropolitan Sydney communities now and into the future.
Randwick Superstation
The Randwick Superstation will be situated on the corner of Darley Road and King Street, adjacent to the TAFE NSW Randwick campus. The close proximity to TAFE NSW Randwick will open potential opportunities for collaboration and training.
Construction on the Randwick superstation has been completed and the new station went live in May 2021.
